LEFT THEM ON THE FENCE-One night last week thieves entered the sleeping apartment of Peter Baum, saloon keeper at Worthington, and carried off his breeches containing his pocketbook. Having obtained possession of the pocket book they extracted the money it contained, amounting to about $20, without touching any of the notes and papers, and replaced it in the garment and left that useful fragment of gentlemen’s wear astraddle the fence. Nothing has been heard of the visitors since.
