John Cowan’s visit to his old home in Cascade was shortened by summons last Friday to attend the bedside of his 4 year old son at Winterset, and on Monday the sad news was received here that the child had died that morning. Some months ago the little fellow had been ill with lung fever, and had never fully recovered. It was a sad blow to the loving parents, and the sympathy of their friends in this vicinity is n with them in their bereavement
