A Birthday Reunion

One of the pleasantest gatterings of the holiday season was the commemoration of the 73rd birthday of our esteemed citizen James Conlin Sr. last Sunday at his residence in East Cascade. The guests were his children and grandchildren, namely James E. Conlin and family, P. J. Conlin and family, and James P. Lane and family. Mrs. Conlin prepared a bountiful feast, and the event was a most enjoyable reunion. The only absentee was Tom Conlin, of Dubuque, who was inable to be present.
