Maxine Turner
Maxine Delpha Turner, 73, Drakesville, died July 16, 1993, at the Long Term Care at Davis County Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1920, south of Mark to Calvin Lester and Emma Francis Goode Henderson. She married William Rex Turner on Nov. 23, 1958, in Yarmouth.
She was a homemaker and worked at IAMO Grocery Store for 17 years. She was the Drakesville correspondent for The Bloomfield Democrat. She was a lifetime resident of Drakesville. She was a member of the Drakesville Christian Church and Davis County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mary Kay Stephenson of Drakesville; a granddaughter; and a sister, Melissa Gordy of New London.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Junior Fenton; and four brothers and sisters in infancy.
Funeral services were held July 19 at the Wagler Funeral HOme with the Rev. Vern Elder and the Rev. Alma Lanferman officiating. Burial was in the Drakesville Cemetery.
