Georgia Anna Wilcox Steele died Friday, December 10, 1982, at the Bloomfield Manor, Bloomfield, Iowa. Although in frail health her death came unexpectedly to her loving family. Anna's life was devoted to her family and home. She was converted early in life to Christianity and that love of God was shown in her daily work whether it was in her garden and flowers, which she dearly loved, or her closeness with her family.
Preceding Anna in death were her parents, three brothers, three sisters, one son and one grandson.
Those surviving, who will mourn her death, are a loving husband and daughter, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Everett M. Wilcox and Charlie R. Wilcox both of Drakesville, Iowa.
Anna attended the Troy United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted and the family has asked that a memorial be established in her name at the church.
