DIED - In McGregor, June 17th, 1863, Mrs. E.P. Clarke, aged 25 years.

The death of this estimable lady has filled with sadness the hearts of her friends, but while we mourn her early departure from earth, we think of her as a dweller of the "City Eternal," for her exemplary life and its prayerful close make us sure that we shall meet her.

"High in the infinite Summer
Beyond the pale kingdom of fear."

Note: Edwin P. Clarke, died 1878, is buried in Pleasant Grove. Unverified, but Sarah is more than likely also buried there.
