MONONA: Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Kamp, 84, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Archie Adney in Mendon township, Dec. 09, 1957, were held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon, Dec. 12, 1957, with the Rev. E. Wayne Hilmer officiating. Burial was in the City cemetery.
As Emma, she was born the daughter of George and Katherine Rose_crans Wickersheim at Giard, December 20, 1872. She was educated in the Giard schools. She had been a member of the Methodist church and the Woman's Relief Corps for many years.
She was married to Henry Kamp in 1901.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Bernice; one grandchild; five brothers, Henry, Gotlieb, Edward, William, and Benjamin; a sister, Mrs. Lena Lange.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Archie (Adeline) Adney, McGregor; a son, Harold, McGregor; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Koether and Miss Katherine Wickersheim, McGregor; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Music for the services was provided by Mrs. Ben Frese, Jr., and Mrs. George Martin. Mrs Ivon J. Schultz was the organist.
