ELKADER - Services for Nelda D. Shuety, 92, of Wauconda, Ill., formerly of the Elkader area, who died Wednesday (May 27) at her daughter's home in Wauconda after a lengthy illness, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Leonard-Witt Funeral Home, Elkader; burial in Lima Cemetery, rural Fayette; survivors include two daughters, Orvilda Thomas of Guttenberg and Erma Franz of Wauconda; a son, Ralph of Fayette; 10 grandchildren; and four sisters, Elta Eberhardt and Hulda Baade, both of Elkader, Edna Henning of Farmersburg and Freda Schutte of Guttenberg; she was preceded in death by her husband, John; and a son, Harley; friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
