STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for T. G. Glennon were held at St. Mary's Catholic church, Friday, conducted by the Rev. P. J. Boyle, assisted by Rev. McCaffery of Masonville, and Rev. McMann of Cresco. Burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
Timothy G. Glennon, son of Timothy and Anna Schully-Glennon, was born in Sperry township, April 12, 1867, and died Wednesday at the Mercy hospital in Oelwein following a complication of diseases.
He was united in marriage to Kathryn Byrnes on Oct. 25, 1898. The home was made on a farm until 1910 when they moved to Strawberry Point, where they have since resided. The deceased has always lived near and around here, and was an earnest worker in the Catholic church and always ready to help those in need. Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Agnes) Lynch, of Independence; also one brother, Will Glennon, of Volga, and a large circle of friends.
