Knoke - Fisko marriage - 1951

The Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, Elkader was the setting, Sept. 22, for the wedding of Miss Helen Fisko and Kenneth Knoke. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Paul Covert, Davenport, and Thor Fisko, Prairie du Chien, Wis. The groom is the son of Mrs. Ella Knoke, Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. The bride's cousin, Mrs. Harold Breitsprecher, was her only attendant, and Fred Knoke attended his brother as best man.

The bride is a graduate of Coe college, Cedar Rapids, and for the past two years has taught Commercial in the Waukon high school. The groom is a graduate of the Elkader high school and has been associated with an implement company at St. Olaf for the past two years.

The new couple will live in Davenport, where Mr. Knoke has accepted employment.
