STRAWBERRY POINT: Miss Virginia Roberts and Cpl. William R. Kellogg, USAF, were married, Sept. 01, in the Marion Christian church. The Rev. Richard Gains officiated, and Mrs. Edna Roberts, aunt of the bride, played the nuptial music. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Roberts of Marion and Mr. Kellogg is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Kellogg of Strawberry Point. Miss Dorothy Koeppen of Marion was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Roberts, sister of the bride, and Janann Kellogg, sister of the groom. Sgt. Robert C. Cody, USAF, of Wichita, Kansas, was best man. Ushers were Robert Marken of Des Moines, cousin of the bride, and Darrell Stimson of Marion.
A reception was given in the church parlors, at which Mrs. DeLoss Marken of Des Moines, aunt of the bride, and Miss June Marken of Des Moines, cousin of the bride, presided at the serving table. Miss Marilyn Roberts assisted at the gifts table and Miss Kahle Roberts of Perry had charge of the guest book.
Mrs. Kellogg attended Iowa University. Mr. Kellogg attended Iowa State Teachers college where he was affiliated with Lambda Gamma Nu fraternity.
The new couple will make their home in San Antonio, Texas, where Mr. Kellogg is stationed with the Human Resources Research Center at Lackland Air Force base.
