MONONA: June 28, the silver wedding anniversary of her parents, was the date chosen by Miss Carol Yvonne Heins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Heins of Monona, for her marriage to Elmer Lawrence Marting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer F. Marting of Luana. The wedding occurred in St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiating. Miss Lorna Heins of Monona attended her sister as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Annette Hanson of Viroqua, Wis., and Miss Elsie Lynn Marting, sister of the groom, of Luana. Richard Marting of Luana served his brother as best man, and groomsmen were Ray Leafstedt of Oelwein, cousin of the groom, and Ronald Meyer of Postville. Gerald Pape of Luana, the bride's cousin, and Edward Sass of Monona, the groom's cousin, were ushers.

The bride is a graduate of Stout State College, Menomonie, Wis., where she received a B.S. degree in home economics education.

After a wedding trip to the eastern states, the new couple will be at home on a farm south of Luana.
