Schroeder - Thiese marriage - 1959

SCHROEDER, THIESE, AUGUSTINE

St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garnavillo was the setting for the wedding of Miss Audrey Thiese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Thiese, and Kenneth Schroeder, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Schroeder, all of Garnavillo. The vows were repeated Saturday, June 06, with Pastors Richard Steege and L. C. Urlaub officiating.

A reception in the church parlors followed the ceremony, at which Mrs. Richard Augustine, sister of the bride, assisted at the guest book, and Ruth Ann Thiese and Myran Thiese, sister and cousin of the bride, were giver's of the groom's cake and rice favors. Miss Angeline Thiese of Monona served the punch.

Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder will take a honeymoon trip out west and will spend the summer in Denver, Colo. In the fall they will return to Chicago, Ill, where Mr. Shroeder will resume school at the Maywood Lutheran Theological Seminary.
