STRAWBERRY POINT: Sandra Jean Mork became the bride of Jerry Dee Corder, Mar. 29, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point. The Rev. Paul Bauer officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Mork of Strawberry Point, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Bart Corder and the late Mr. Corder of Grand Island, Nebr. Peggy Mork was maid of honor, and Ruth Mork was bridesmaid, both being sisters of the bride. Julie Ann Hubbard, Elkader, niece of the bride, and Debbie White, Lexington, Nebr., niece of the groom, were flower girls. Charles Corder, Golden, Colo., served his brother as best man, and Harlan Ferdrichs, Burlington, was groomsman. Ushers were Roger Mork of Marion and Don Mork of Strawberry Point, both brothers of the bride.
A reception for 200 guests was held in the church parlors, at which Mrs. Paul Liddle of Waukon, aunt of the bride, cut and served the cake, and Mrs. Kenneth Hubbard, sister of the bride, served the coffee, and Mrs. Roger Mork of Marion served the punch.
The bride attended Elkader high school and is a graduate of Strawberry Point school. She was employed at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids and more recently and up until the time of her wedding has been employed as a secretary at the Clayton County court house in Elkader.
