Monona: Miss Anna Mae Grady, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward T. Grady of Monona, became the bride here Saturday, April 16, of Joseph L. Rothmeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rothmeyer Sr., also of Monona. The Rev. Luke Donlon, pastor, officiated at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Matron of honor was Mrs. John Rothmeyer, sister-in-law of the groom, and Mrs. Charles B. Fick, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Best man was the groom's brother, John Rothmeyer, and Tom Grady, brother of the bride, was groomsman. Ushers were Charles B. Fick, Charles Rothmeyer Jr. and Ed Grady.
At the reception in Monona City Hall for 200 guests, Miss Eileen Garaghty had charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Rose Ann Radloff poured. Mrs. Ed Grady and Mrs. Tom Grady cut the cake.
Mrs. Rothmeyer, a 1947 graduate of Monona high school, has been employed as secretary to the superintendent of schools. Her husband, who attended the Elkader schools, is engaged in farming.
After a brief honeymoon to the Wisconsin Dells, the new couple will reside on a farm southwest of Monona.
