Volga: Thursday, Sept. 12, 1957, Miss Lois Schaefers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schaefers, Volga, became the bride of Harold Mueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mueller Sr., of Garnavillo. The Rev. Karl J. Klein, pastor of Sacred Heart church, officiated. Miss Mary Schaefers, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and the groom's brother, Henry Mueller of Clayton was best man. The bride's brother, Lavern Schaefers of Beloit, Wis., was groomsman. Jerome Platten, Farmersburg, cousin of the groom, and Gregory Schaefers, Monticello, brother of the bride, ushered.

The bride, a graduate of the Volga high school, has been employed at the Schmidt drug store in Elkader. Her husband farms near Garnavillo.
