Paul E. Beckwith, 77 of rural Spirit Lake, died Saturday at the Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Spirit Lake. The Rev. Warren Paige will officiate
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer
Masonic Services were 7:30 p.m. MondayCasket bearers will be Clare Fredericks, Jim Jones, don Reed, George Banning, Burney Daniels and Lowell Wade
The Turner Funeral Home, Spirit Lake is in charge of arrangements
The son of Marea and John Beckwith, he was born February 22. 1909 in Modale in Harrison County. He went to school at Lake City and attended Morningside College
He married Helen Edith Munson, June 22, 1932
Mr. Beckwith worked for Northwest Bell for 44 years. He retired in February, 1973. He was a member of the Masons, Jewel Lodge No. 309, AF and AM of Storm Lake. He liked golf and fish. He was a member of the Northwest Iowa Dog Club
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Andrew; and one sister
Survivors include his wife; one son, David Lee of Golden, Colorado; two daughters, Paulette Evonne Loving of Albert City and Mary Helen Foster of Spencer; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild
