Floyd Lloyd Beaver, 86, Spencer, died Saturday, April 18, 1998 at St. Luke Lutheran Home, Spencer
Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spencer with the Rev. Roger Linnan officiating
Casket bearers will be John Zinn, Tom Howe, Rich Prentice, Dean Kalvig, Elmer Steven and Bob Soucek
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, with Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements
Floyd Lloyd Beaver, the son of Harvey and Hattie (Armagast) Beaver was born September 25, 1911, in Minburn. The family moved to Estherville in 1914 and that is where he received his schooling
On July 7, 1942, he entered the military and served with the United States Army until 1945
He was a General Motors mechanic in Estherville for 30 years. In 1964 he moved to Spencer and worked at H & N until retiring in 1980
He married Alice Watson on September 27, 1969 in Spencer, where they continued to live
Mr. Beaver was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and four sisters
He is survived by his wife; two brothers; McKinley Beaver of Estherville and Charles Beaver of Fenton; two sisters; Margaret Seeliger of Estherville and Dorothy Lee of Estherville
