Bruce Elva Reish, son of Samual E and Eva Alice Ruark Reish, was born on October 23, 1910 in Clarke County, Iowa and passed away on October 6, 1994 at Newton Health Care Center in Newton, Iowa at the age of 83 years.
On December 10, 1932 Bruce was united in marriage to Almeda Caroline Page in Bethany, Missouri and two children, Erma and Gary were born to this union.
Bruce was a Farmer and Owner-Operator Truck Driver. He lived in Monroe, Iowa from 1986-1993 and the Osceola and Weldon Area prior to this. Bruce loved to fish and do woodworking projects. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Osceola, Iowa and was also a 4-H Leader for many years.
Preceding Bruce in death were his Parents and a brother, Paul Reish.
Survivors include his wife, Almeda C Reish of Newton, Iowa; daughter, Erma Cartwright and husband Jerry of Monroe, Iowa; son, Gary Reish and wife Penny of Mitchellville, Iowa; grandchildren, Valerie Edwards and husband Curtis of Monroe, Iowa and children Angie & Kyle; Randy Cartwright and wife Teresa of Monroe, Iowa and children Bradley & Shannon; Greg Reish of Las Vegas, Nevada; Brenda Reish of Los Angeles, California; Brian DeVore and son Devon of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Gertrude McGee of Osceola, Iowa along with other relatives and a host of friends.
