Funeral services for Barbara Jean Sloan, 31, of Lake View Manor, Glenwood, will be held Tuesday, October 14. Rev. Don Zumwalt will conduct the 10:30 a.m. service from the Webster-Kale Funeral Home. She died Saturday, October 11 [1975].

Barbara Jean was born November 27, 1943 at Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sloan of Osceola.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Mable Wolfe Sloan of Osceola; three sisters, Mary Lipe of Kansas City, Missouri; Jo Ann Strubhar of Marion, Iowa; Donna West of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; grandmother, Jesse Sloan of Osceola; step-grandmother, Faye Wolfe of Murray, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Sloan[Lishe P. Sloan] and Grandfather and Grandmother Wolfe[Clarence W. Wolfe and Eva P. Moore].

Interment will be in Murray Cemetery.
