Ed Attleson is in my family tree. I am originally from Lawler, IA and my mother was an Attleson. The Attleson name has an extensive family history with ties to the first King of a united Norway. Viking King Harald the FairHaired in the mid to late 900's with ties to other countries royalty also. Attleson is not a very common name in the United States and has roots back to the Sogn area of Norway.
