My Stanton connection is to John Stanton b 23Apr1846 in New York, d 7Feb1907 in New Hampton, Iowa. John married my great grand aunt, Daphney Cooney, on 8Apr1872 in Stotlestown, Fayette County, Iowa. Their children were; Mary C,Thomas, Katherine, William, Joseph, Teresa, Edward, Rosetta, Theresa, Celia, Elizabeth, Clara and James Joseph. Are these folks connected to your Stantons?
