LUCY GOOD
Lucy Irene Good was born April 19, 1899, the daughter of Floyd and Emma Copenhaver at Bronson, Iowa.
After a long illness, she passed away March 7, 1949, at the age of 49 years, 10 months and 16 days.
She was united in marriage to Swain Good Aug. 25, 1917. They lived most of their married life in the vicinity of Cherokee. She is survived by her widower and five children, Mrs. Dora Walker, Mrs. Ruth Neustrom and Bob Good, Cherokee, Mrs. Gladyce Louder of Ida Grove and Mrs. Opal Denker of Lake Park.
Other survivors are seven brothers and four sisters, Dan Copenhaver of Primghar, Frank and Sidney of Sioux City, Louis of Sergeant Bluff, Dick of West Fork, Ark., Raymond of Farmington, Minn., Clem of Havre, Mont.; Mrs. Nora Steinhouer of Kansas City; Mrs. Dora Weed of Washington, Mrs. Pauline Johnson of Topeka, Kas., and Mrs. Ruth Bluette, Sioux City.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral rites were held at Boothby funeral home. Interment was in Sunset View cemetery, Washta.
Pallbearers were Harry Robinson, Loyd Redman, Fred Hoxsie, Bill Wentworth, W. H. Neustrom and Lon Childers.
