Mrs. Katherine Albers, 84, whose home was at 926 West Willow, died in Cherokee Tuesday, March 15 following a short illness.

Mrs. Albers was born in Illinois but lived most of her life in Cherokee County.

Survivors are: three sons, Bruno, Gerhard and John Albers, all of Sioux City; four daughters, Mrs. John Umhoefer of Cleghorn, Mrs. Henry Umhoefer of Albuquerque, Mrs. Melvin Wilson and Mrs. Edward Eischen, both of Cherokee.

Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Mary Peters and Mrs. Carl Goeh, both of Cherokee, and one brother, John Peters also of Cherokee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Albers will be Friday, March 18 from Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Visitation Cemetery at Maryhill.
