looking for death date

I am looking for the death date of my paternal greatgrandmother. Her name was Vivian Venus Dawson Cook. SSDI has her listed as Vivian Cook, date of birth 20 Nov 1889, death April 1971. I would like to get the exact date of death so I can do an obituary search.
