Funeral services for Leo LaMar Wilkerson, 81, Chugwater, Wyo. and formerly of Cedar county, were held recently.

Mr. Wilkerson died July 26, 1989 at the Life Care Center of Cheyenne, Wyo.

The son of Robert and Ethel Wilson Wilkerson, he was born April 29, 1908 in Cedar county. He married Alta Millett Sept. 17, 1930 in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Wilkerson farmed and owned a farm in southwest Cedar county. In 1972 he and his wife moved to Chugwater, Wyo. He was a member of the United Methodist church of Chugwater, the Lions Club of Iowa and a past member of the Little Bear Grange of Platte county.

He is survived by his wife; 4 children, Marjorie Phillips, Las Vegas, Nev.; Wayne and Karl, Chugwater and Jeanette Clopton, Denver; a sister, Louise Clemmens, Atalissa; a half-brother, Marvin Wilkerson, West Branch; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
