Funeral services for Patricia L. Trump, 62, Mechanicsville and formerly of Tipton, were held July 29, 1989 at St. Mary's church in Mechanicsville, with the Rev. D. L. Waldschmidt officiating. Frances Robinson was the organist and pallbearers were Wayne, Wade, Ward, Sean and Glen Winekauf, Greg Fowler and Brian Masterson. Mass servers were Andy Fowler and Kevin Masterson. Burial was in the Rose Hill cemetery.

Rosary was held July 28 at St. Mary's Hall in Tipton.

Mrs. Trump died July 27 at her home in Mechanicsville following a brief illness.

The daughter of Loren and Kathryn Roberts Carlisle, she was born March 29, 1927 in Tipton. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1945. She married Merven Trump Sept. 8, 1945 in Tipton.

She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal during World War II and was a writer for the Pioneer Press in Mechanicsville and the Cedar Rapids Gazette. She also worked at Seehusen Insurance in Mechanicsville. She had resided in Mechanicsville since 1946.

Mrs. Trump was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Tipton Golf and Country club, TTF, Royal Neighbors, St. Mary's church in Mechanicsville and the church guild.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Kathryn Trump, Mechanicsville; a son, Steve Trump, Ventura, Calif.; 2 grandchildren and 4 sisters, Mrs. Charles (Mary Jane) Winekauf, Tipton; Cynthia Carlisle, Greeley, Colo.; Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Masterson, Galesburg, Ill. and Mrs. Jon (Karla) Fowler, Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
