Graveside services for Hertha Elizabeth Eggert, 95, Mechanicsville, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, July 19, 1989 at the Clinton Memorial cemetery. Horner-Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eggert died July 15 at the Hallmark Care Center in Mt. Vernon following a brief illness.
The daughter of Henry and Marianne Paulson Werner, she was born Sept. 2, 1893 in Wheatland. She married Henry Eggert Jan. 8, 1913 in Tipton. He died in 1955.
The Eggerts moved to Mechanicsville from Bennett in 1922 and were members of the United Methodist church in Mechanicsville. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Easter Star.
Mrs. Eggert is survived by 2 daughters, Helen Kuehl, Marion and Bonnie Hass, Mechanicsville, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 sons.
Memorials may be made to the Mechanicsville Volunteer ambulance service of the United Methodist church.
