Funeral services for Harold E. Miller, 51, West Branch, were held Sept. 2, 1988 at the West Branch United Methodist church, with the Rev. Sang Ro officiating. Mrs. Amy Garlock was the organist and Jim Farmer was the soloist. Pallbearers were James Barnhart, Bruce Barnhart, Roy Mayhew, Rick Mayhew, Larry Spillers and Bob Gruwell. Burial was in the Springdale cemetery.
Mr. Miller died Aug. 30 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
The son of Albert and Pearl Clayton Miller, he was born Oct. 16, 1936 in Early. He graduated from Odebolt high school in 1955. He married Sally Kennedy Oct. 4, 1963 in Davenport.
Mr. Miller was a co-owner of American Prosthetic Co. In Iowa City. He was a member of the Orthotic and Prosthetic Academy and was also a member of the American Board of Certification for Prosthetics and Orthotics. He was a member of the Springdale United Methodist church and Kiwanis club.
He is survived by his wife, 3 sons, Tim, Tom and Pete, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Miller, Early; 2 brothers, George, Lytton and John, Lawton and one sister, Mrs. Freida Veit, Odebolt.
