Let's start with Henry Frank's family:
His father Hinrich Wilhelm Franck/Frank emigrated 20th Oct.1869 to America, arrived in New York 03rd Nov.1869,went on to Clinton Co,Iowa, where his daughter Pauline had settled in 1865 (Olive Twp near Grand Mound). He was born 28th Jan.1813 in Beschendorf near Lensahn/Hol- stein.Married 17th July 1840 in Grube/Holstein with Anna Margaretha Christina Wienke/Wiencke.The
couple had four children:
1. Pauline Henriette Christine Frank, born 24th Nov.1840 in Grube/Holstein,married to Claus Friedrich Christian Simon on 12th Sept.1863 in
Lensahn/Holstein,emigrated to America 01st Nov.1865,settled in Clinton Co,Iowa,moved on later to Crawford Co,Iowa.She died 17th July 1929
in Manning,Iowa.
2. Jochim Hinrich Christian Frank (who called himself Henry Frank in Iowa),born 25th Dec.1844
in Grube/Holstein,married to Julia Wulf (date missing),emigrated to America in 1872.He died
14th Nov.1934 in Arcadia,Carroll Co,Iowa.
3. Johanna Catharina Dorothea Frank, born 11th March 1850 in Lensahn/Holstein,and died after only eight months on 18th Nov.1850 in Lensahn/
Holstein.
4. Elisabeth Catharina Friederike Frank, born 29th Sept.1853 in Lensahn/Holstein,emigrated with her parents to America in Nov.1869,was found
in the Census 1870 and then disappeared (no fur-
ther details and informations).
Hinrich Wilhelm Frank was called William Frank by
the time he arrived in Iowa.In the Census 1870
Olive Twp,Clinton Co,Iowa he was called William Franc. He probably died in the year 1872 in Clinton Co,Iowa. His wife Anna moved on to Crawford Co,Iowa with her daughter and her son-in-law.She died in the year 1883 and she was buried on the Iowa Cemetery,Iowa Twp,Crawford Co.I think this will do for a start.Let's work it up step by step.I would like to have some detailed informations about Richard and Bertha Frank and their children.I only know about one son Elmer Frank.Looking forward to reading your story.
