RE your request for information about decendants of Joe Heider.
I think you may find that he was a son of Conrad Heider. I am trying to locate Conrad's family data as I may be a decendant of his son William S. Heider. My grandfather was William A. Heider and he always related to his father as a jockey (in NY?).
One or more of Conrad's (grand)sons built the Heider Tractor company there in carroll county.
