According to an article in the January 18, 1946 issue of the Coon Rapids Enterprise newspaper, the Coon Rapids Furniture Store ran an ad. It stated that the new furniture store (Coon Rapids Furniture Store) would open on or about February 1st. The ad stated that it would be in the Jones Building on Main Street, across from Williams Locker Service.
