KANE, MADIGAN, TESSANDORI - Looking for information on Herbert James Kane. He and his wife Cora lived in Carroll, Iowa during the time period 1919 to 1924. Cora bought a home on N. Main (Lot 8, Block 3, First Addition to Carroll, IA) on March 36, 1919 from Thomas Madigan and Hannah Madigan. Herbert and Cora sold the home on June 16, 1924 to Mike Tessandori and Martha Tessandori. The Tessandori's were I believe their next door neighbors. They owned a Main Street Ice Cream Parlor and later on their two girls opened a Marty Anne's dress shop. Cora and Herbert moved to Cedar Rapids after they sold the home. Herbert worked for a "gas company". I do know that while they lived in Boone, Iowa around 1910 he was a superintendent for the Boone Gas Works. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate a response. Thank you.
