I know this thread is old, not sure if you are still on here. My husband's 3x Gr Grandmother is Caroline Knight. She had two children in the early 1860s with the last name of Conner before remarrying a man named Glen. I think her first husband may have been John Conner, George Conner's brother, although I do not know what happened to him (civil war casualty?) Do you know anything about John Conner, who got this tract of land, or any other brothers that may have been married to Caroline Knight? Thank you.
