Thank you so much for the information. I have been wondering for years about the death of Nathan Palmer. I thought maybe a farming accident. He really died young and Frances must have had a bad time raising all the young children on her own. Is Nathan's death year 1894? I don't understand how he died by drinking milk from a tin pan. Was it an infection? Sorry, city girl. My mother's grandmother was Olive Mae Palmer Shearman. Her mother, Frances Harriott Palmer died in Mae's home in Bruce Wis. If you have more family information, I would love to hear from you.
