Good Evening; Levi & Jemima Higgins are my GG grandparents. They were amoung the first settlers in Carroll County. I was born & raised in Lake City, Iowa and have a sister that lives in Lanesboro, IA. Lanesboro is just a few miles NW of Kendall Bridge which is the site of the first Carroll Co. pioneer settlement. I have some geneological information on Levi & Jemima, if you would like to have it contact me and I will dig it out for you. I have the family bible of Levi's son George and his wife Sara Allen (Buttrick). I have also done some research of the Higgins family that goes back a couple of generations beyond Levi.
