I recognize many of these Surnames. My grandmother was Helene Starck, who immigrated to USA from Germany in 1898.

Washington Township was composed entirely of farms with no towns included. The Washington Township pupil roster was one of nine "county school houses". The nearest towns are Mannning to the south, Westside to the west, Halbur to the east, and Arcadia to the North.
