Dear Mary,
I found your query online and hoped, that you might be able to supply me with some additional information regarding Dohmeier relatives here in the US. my family originated from Hoexter near the river WESER- and Westphalia, Lippe- Detmold and ,up river , Hamlin, Bremen and Bremerhafen have a few family members left. My grandfather Emil Frederik was born in 1900 in Bremen, moved to Wilhelmhaven and settled in Friesland.He was one of 6 brothers and as far as I remember had one brother that left for Chicago in the 1920's- but there was some family there already. One brother left for Chile in 1914-15. Do you have any Dohmeier information for us?
