Little Roy Grosshauser, the five year old son of Mr and Mrs Henry Grosshauser, passed away at the Storm Lake Hospital on Saturday of last week following an operation for rupture. He was taken to the hospital there on Thursday of that week, and operated the same day, the operation was not a serious one but it seemed that the hand of fate and the seemly grim reaper had decided it to be that way. He was at the time of his death only five years and twelve days. Funeral services were held on Tuesday of this week and enterment at the German Lutheran cemetery, Rev. Schalinski officiating. Roy was a smart httle boy, loved and cherished by everyone that knew him, and the loving parents feel the weight of this load the heaviest as he was the oldest of the children and the pride of the household. Together with the entire community we extend our sympathy in this their hour of sorrow.
