John Howard McGill, 95, of rural Independence, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, in Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, after a short illness.

Survivors include three sons, Robert of Cedar Falls, John of Deer River, Minn., and Dale of Independence. Beulah M. Ward, 98, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, in East Towne Care Center after a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, First United Methodist Church. Burial: Wilson Cemetery. Friends may call anytime today at White Funeral Home, Independence.
