The Bulletin on the 4th inst. reports that Mr. George S. Woodruff has retired from business at Independence, to take position under his brother, Lieut. E. A. Woodruff, U. S. Engineers, who have been instructed by the War Department with the removal of the obstructions in the Red River, above Shreveport, La.
