Lessie or L. Boone

I am researching my great grandmother. Her name was Lessie Boone. She was born sometime in the 1800s. I cannot find anything about her, but there is a tombstone in a Boone County Cemetery that says L. Boone. She had a daughter Carolyn Makinster (my grandmother. If anyone has info. to share I would be most appreicative.
