Iowa City-Oct. 14 – Iowa Great Council of the Degree of Pocahontas elected the following offices for the ensuing year: Pocahontas, Mrs. Elizabeth Beale, Belle Plaine; Minnehaha, Mrs. Sam Gore, Hocking; Winona, Mrs. Etta Kehm, Des Moines; keeper of records, Mrs. Jess L. Miller, Ames; prophetess, Mrs. Katie Bronson, Des Moines; guard of tepee, Mrs. Katie Vaughn, Marengo; guard of forest, Mrs. William Wetherell, Knoxville; scouts, Mrs. Charlie Howe, Clinton, and Mrs. P. D. Swick, Boone; keeper of wampum, Mrs. Jurena McClellan, Algona.
