My grandmother was put in that hospital in 1937 for no apparent reason, and was in and out, but later transferred to an unspecified county home, where she died in 1942. I finally found where she was laid to rest. Have you tried contacting the hospital to sign for records saying their for medical history? I was told that at some time half of the hospital was used to quarantine people with contagious diseases.
