I believe we may be researching the same EDSILL line. My son is Jordan EDSILL. He is the only son of Troy Allen EDSILL. Troy is from La Porte, IA.

Troy's parents were Floyd Washington (twin of Lloyd George) and Marvel Laura VOSHELL. Floyd's Social Security Change Request lists Harry EDSILL and Alice BAGENSTOS as his parents. I believe Harry EDSILL and Alice BAGENSTOS had 5 children.. June, Geneva, Floyd, Lloyd, and James. Four of the 5 children were sent to live with other family members when Alice died in 1926. James stayed with Harry. Harry's parents were Vinson and Elmina.

My research is "preliminary" and most of what I have is secondary sources (newpaper articles, word of mouth, etc.) Some of this info may not be 100% accurate, but I'm working on it!
