CLARK, VANDEVENTER, LONGLEY

My great, great grandparents, George W. Clark and Eleanor Vandeventer Clark come from Virginia to Appanoose County in 1853. In 1856 George declared bankruptcy and is shown with his family in the 1860 census. He disappears after that and his wife Eleanor (Elender) is listed as a widow. We can find no account of how George W. Clark died or of his whereabouts. If anyone has information about these Clarks, please email me. George and Eleanor's son, James Vandeventer Clark were the parents of my grandparents, Jacob J. Clark and Estella Martha Madison Clark. Thank you.
