The census from Appanoose cty is the only thing I have that lists Richard. When I was referring to Richard in Davis county it was after he was married and had his children. It has been several years, now, since I happened across that census and it was strange that I found it at all. I had been doing research in Davis cty and when I saw mention of the Appanoose cty birth I raced over to Centerville with minutes to spare before the courthouse closed. I hope to get down to your area again and see what else I can dig up like when the Johnson's moved to Davis cty. Thanks for your help.....Sue
