Pearl Haynes
Pearl Tusing Haynes, wife of H. E. Haynes, died at her home, 525 N. 12th street at 8:30 a. m. Thursday. She was born at Union Mills, Iowa July 9, 1889. In the year of 1906 she was united in marriage to E. B Norris of Montezuma, Ia. and to this union seven children were born: Elmer, Lister, Clyde, Marjorie, Bernice, Melvin and Eva. In 1924 she was united in marriage to H. E. Haynes and to this union was born one child who died at birth. She leaves to mourn her husband, children and two stepsons, Melvin and Leon, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Tusing, two brothers, Ralph, of Rexfield, Iowa, and Sam of Mutterville, Iowa, and six sisters. Mrs. Carl Jones of Albia; Mrs. Blanche Dicks, of Albia; Mrs. Ira Amlong of Washington, Iowa; Mrs. Roy Thompson, Albia; Mrs. Chas. Gullion, Albia; Goldie of Rexfield, lowa and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral will be held at the Centerville Methodist Church at 2 pm Saturday.Centerville Daily Iowegian and Citizen – Centerville, Iowa

Death certificate says she suffered a 7 month miscarriage on September 23, 1930 and died suddenly of an embolism of the coronary artery on October 9, 1930; undertaker was A. F. Beckner of Centerville; burial in Haynes Cemetery.
