Thank you for the Census information, especially the information that Peter listed his parents birthplace as New Hampshire. I want to validate exactly who the Parents of Peter and Abner Coffin were.
I am from the Abner Coffin line and was hoping to find some remaining relatives in Iowa.
Peter was born in Guilford County, NC. He was the brother of Abner Coffin.
He had 4 living children that I know of.
Abigail Coffin whom I believe married David B Denny.
Benjamin Franklin Coffin
Abner M Coffin was married to Sarah who is buried in Greenlawn Cem. Afton
Jonathan A Coffin who did stay in Grant County Indiana for a while, he was married to Mary Emmaline
