While the death records in Appanoose County started in 1880 they are far from complete for the early years. The Appanoose County Genealogical Society has a photocopy of these death records at the Drake Public Library in Centerville; the ACGS does research for a nominal fee. Also, these records were photocopied by the LDS and are available on microfilm from the FHL in Salt Lake City. They can be ordered and viewed in your local LDS Family History Center. I have them all at our local FHC in Scranton PA. If you send me the name and other information I could check them on my next visit.
